CLK DTM

Hey, I'm not a benz owner, but I would really like to know if anyone has the CLK DTM. I believe AMG only produced 100 units and I want to know if anyone in the US owns one.
BTW, I own a Acura Legend and planning on buying the New RL. Tell me what you think about these cars, don't care whether they're good or bad comments.

Technically the CLK DTM is European only, no US model.

Most people who have a CLK DTM are too busy jet setting around the world to join a forum[:D].

The RL is a nice elegant car, but I feel that Acura (honda) has lost a bit of it's charm when they switched to the new badging (and newer models). the legend was a great machine and is still highly sought after over here.

When I was at the Harms shipping location in Sindelfingen recently I believe I parked next to one not recognizing what it was. I'll try to dig up a photo I took parked next to it and post it later. It was white. Harms handles shipping to the US so it is possible it was headed out of the country to the US or some other destination.

Is there a vendor selling this wide body kit? Does Mercedes have it available on special order through AMG or something?

Well, I wouldn't have traded my SLK for it anyway.[:p] Then again for the price of that piece of machinery I guess I could trade it in for a SLK and a CLK Cabriolet, and still have some significant change left over.

Road and Track in its September issue feature on the CLK DTM AMG reports the price as $250,000.00!

What is the price driver?? Does it get a super charged AMG V8. That would be cool, since the CLK55's are all natural asp.
