I have an 00CLK430Cab with 21K miles on it. I recently put a deposit on an 04 CLK500Cab. I don't know if I like the looks of the new clk as much, at this point in time. I do feel that my model looks more aggressive, but I must concede that the new clk has many improvements. Any comments?

W208 vs W209
I personally like the W208 alot more than the new model. Only thing about the W209 that appeals to me is the lack of a B-pillar and the new grill, but otherwise, I would keep what you have now.

In my opinion i like the current w209 model, but if your getting the w209 clk 500 it's even better.. More HP, more room, more luxury, and you get an AMG body kit. It has alot of improvements from the previous CLK models. YOu should consider it, if you get the price you want.. and you already put a deposit so why waste it.
ONe more thing test drive the current CLK320, if you like the ride confort and etc. then you got urself a new car...[:)]
I had a 1999 CLK and I was thrilled with the car. Mine had 87,000 miles on it and I had ordered an 03CLK. While checking out the CLK I decided to drive the new E-Class. Deciding to get something a little bigger I chose the E. It is more comfortable, much quieter and rides great. It may not handle quite as well, but it is a heck of a car. I thought the old style CLK was fabulous and while a coupe is more striking than the sedan, I really feel like the E Class is a heck of a lot more car.
