After many months of viewing photos & comments I didn't think I would like the W209. However, Fletcher Jones had both 320 & 500 models in last week. I was pleasantly surprised that I liked the body & interior. I liked the full coupe aspect (no B pillar) where all 4 windows go down as well as the rear window opening slightly when the door is opened.
After thinking about it over the weekend I placed an order. However, dealer doesn't have a delivery date. Did indicate that the 1st AMG is to be built in Sep. Anyone else have order placed with delivery date info?

I am on the list in NYC - apparantly number 1 on the list. They seem to have no idea when it will be introduced, though they say it will be a 2004 model - so I guess next spring or summer would make sense (a la the newest SL intro).
They also seem to have little idea which engine they are going to put it - though all indications from my research points to the 367 HP normally aspirated V8 - I think this is a dissapointment and have not ruled out cancelling my order if this holds true.
