I'm a new owner of a 2007 CLK350 convert. The car does not have a Nav System. Is it possible that a car of this price range does not have a built-in compass? I'm hoping I have overlooked it! Thanks

Yeah, that's the one thing I was surprised wasn't standard in the rear mirror.

It seems to be that automakers are phasing out the compass that use to come on the rear view mirrors...that maybe because most cars nowadays come with or have the option of a gps system, which eliminates the need for a compass. really, who uses those things anways?
