Im sure its a powerful car as I currently drive an E63 with the same engine. However, I am wondering about daily use, performance in extreme heat (I live in Kuwait 50+ degrees Celsius,) and any precautions/additives I should add to the fuel tank. Thanks.
Ps. I put the down payment on it already, just havent pulled the trigger just yet.
Yes, a down payment/deposit means that you reserve the car before buying it so other people cannot come and immediately purchase it. If you choose not to, you get your money back. Thats actually the best thing to do for a model that has only had a run of 700, and is quite rare.
I would appreciate any useful information regarding this car. Perhaps from an owner who has put a few miles on it.

Well, it protects the merchant from ordering something like a 140k car, and then the buyer backing out. At least they get some compensation if it does happen.
TopGear's Test Driver, Jeremy Clarkson, drove one and bought it... but whatever you do, Mercedes warns you in a letter to NOT turn off the ESP traction control!!!
