Post 19'S ON THE FRONT AND 20'S ON THE BACK..ANY THOUGHTS??

So I have been contemplating what rims I should get, and what size for months now, it takes me a long time to decide on things when it comes to my cars. I don't want to lose ride quality, after all, that's one of the reason we drive Mercedes to begin with right!? Since everybody is pretty consistent on saying that 20's don't fit on the front of CLK's without modding something in one way or another, I thought that like the CLK DTM AMG, having 19's on the front and 20's on the back, might not be a bad idea. Although my car (2006 CLK350) doesn't have flared fenders and a lot of other items the DTM has, it was still up for discussion in my mind. Does anyone have this done on their car? Do you think it would hurt my transmission in any way to have the car set up like that? Please share your thoughts on this matter, I value every ones opinion!!

I am coming from a firebird/camaro forum where having different sized rims are more common. Having different size rims deffinatly gives it a unique/custom look. however, you will suffer performance-wise and in the long term, your suspension will wear unevenly. this is not the DTM model wich is drastically different. I see no need or reason for you to do this. 19's all around looks perfect. any bigger and its just too much, performance-wise and looks-wise. 19's all around and its perfect.

oh and the firebird/camaro thing...
im well over that. Im a true mercedes guy and always will be.
