Hi,
I just purchased a 2007 clk 63 cab and I am ready to make some upgrades. If anyone could point me in the best directions it would be a big help !!
I am looking to:
Upgrade to xenon (cant believe this wasn't standard) where is the best place to get a set of headlights? does anyone have any for sale?
I an also interested in upgrading to a true quad tip exhaust. If anyone has done this or knows where to source the parts it would also be a great help.
Yes the car is an AMG and, I would think the car would come with xenon but that is an option. Crazy for a car with a $98,000 sticker.
The car comes with dual tip exhaust out of one side but after hearing a 63 black series I want that sound!!!!!
Car has: keyless go, sat nav, park distance, and heat/ac vented seats.
Weird... "Dual tip exhaust out only one side"?... I don't think you have a "true" AMG car... What engine do you have in it? ...is the engine supercharged?
Have you asked these questions on the AMG forum??? If so, what did they tell you???

Good Luck...
There is a brace from the right rear frame rail blocking that area where a muffler would go. I have the same problem on my CLK63, remember these are convertibles, here in the USA.
OK.... well, you sure don't want to cut off that brace to add the extra muffler!!!
That must be some Giant dual exhaust tips to get all the exhaust flow out of the engine!!! Does it look like a dual '4" Rice Grinder' type exhaust tip??? Pix please.
Look like it would need some kind of modified quad exhaust system or custom exhaust that has more free flow to get the sounds he wants.
But sure don't know why the car does not have HID lights... unless someone swapped them out before the sale?
HID xenon lighting is a option on the clk 63. Look on the MB website. The car is a real CLK 63 AMG I have the original sticker that has Halogen lights listed as a standard feature.
