internet access with command system

I was watching the movie Player5150, and one guy was driving a w209 convertible and had the blumberg/stock monitor on his central command system. I am a huge sports gambler and was wondering if there was any way to do that? or if it was just hollywood doing their thing. I would love to get internet in my car. does anyone know?

Do a Google search for PC computer in cars and internet ... some key words like that...

I recall there is a user group that has PC computers mounted in the trunk controlling everything, tons of DVD movies, MP3 music, and internet access through one of the cell phone company.

Try searching in google for carputer. The only way your going to get internet is thru a wireless card or some how use your cell/mobile to gain internet access.

I read somewhere yesterday that Apple is going to be redesigning the command system for 2009, so it might be a possibility but i don't see how if we don't even have VIM in america, why they'd allow that.
