CLK320 W209 mobile phone dock question

Hi all

Just a quick question regarding the mobile phone dock in the arm rest of the CLK320.

I'm trying to figure out if I can use this docking unit at all (which appears suitable for much older version of Nokia's phones ) rather than investing in a bluetooth device.

I'm not sure though if i need to get this docking unit replaced completely or if an "adapter" exists which allows me to plug in my current phone (an more up-to-date Nokia)

Anyone know of such an adapter or have any advice re how I can use this dock in my car??
