I have an '04 CLK 320 with the tel/radio/ and a little storage compartment under it and I want to remove it and replace it with the Nav system of this same year. I have attached a pic of the radio I currently have and a pic of the NAV system I am looking for. Does anyone know if this can be done?? How easy or hard is it?? And if anyone knows where I can pick one up? Thanks in advance for all your help!!!
the DVD command navigation system is for models 2005 and up. there is a CD based command navigation that was available in the models up to 2004. i believe the wiring is different for each one so it may not be an easy swap. also they are very expensive to obtain.
I had the dealer check on that for my 04 clk500. They said it can't be done because mine was not pre-wired for Nav from the factory. The only way for me to have Nav is to go aftermarket.
