Do you know any Automotive Electronic Geeks over there??? You could pop open the "Brain" and see if the Firmware chip is in a socket; if it is you can pop it out and "copy" it and save the copy as the original version.
Then when the Dealer upgrades the chip to the new firmware you will also have the old firmware chip copy to fall back onto if something goes wrong or you don't like it.
I am in negotiations with them to get it done for Free (i might have to pay some amount after all )
Under these new circumstances, the questions i have are:
1. Will the ECU remapping alone be enough to bring the 163 BHP to 184?
2. Will there be more fuel consumption when driving "normaly"?
3. Will there be a noticeable difference (worth paying for)?

1. yes
2. most of the time
3. yes
Most of the time at least here in the states manufacturers detune their cars to 1 pass emissions 2 save wear and tear on parts drive trains and what not. Most simple remapping just adjust the timing and other simple changes. So when when you get on it your going to use more gas then before but for just cruising you shouldn't see much if any increase in fuel consumption. I actually saw an increase when I had my truck done. Its def worth doing. If you don't like it you can always have the stock program put back on. Or you can do what I did and buy and additional pcm and have them tune that one and keep the stock to switch back and forth. Hope that helps you a bit.
