Air Intake

I have been reading about these "tornadoes" and "cyclone" devices that go in between you air filter and your engine in the air intake. They claim they create a cyclone effect pulling air into your engine for better cumbustion = more HP and more MPG's. They all seem a bit sketchy though?? Any thoughts?? Legit??

I dont recommend that you even think about doing this.... First of all, I never ever seen anyones with a GERMAN LUXURY Vechile have that piece of shit setup on there Ride. Number 1 you cannot put that thing between the air filter and the engine* will not fit * Impossible* Plus if you force too much Air into the Engine - It will cause you computer to go HayWire* If you take off the Mercedes Dual Ram Intake Ducts.... You will Lose Power! Bottom Line AMG Boxes & Filter Replacement is your only productive option

The K&N Air Filter is said to have better air flow... the factory states no HP or fuel mileage advantages... but I have read otherwise.

Anyone knows for sure if it's worth paying $40 for the K&N air filter?

I can do 1 better. I can sell you a virtual cyclone for 1/2 the cost with the exact same effect.

These things are total bogus items for suckers to buy. If you think adding performance / HP etc. was that easy wouldn't MB (And all other car makers) use these as standard equipment?

Thumbs down

Uh.. Even better... I can sell you a Pet Rock for only $9.95 + tax that when placed before the MAS is guaranteed to direct the air flow and double your engine's HP!!!
