I have found an occasional use for my Cruise control on long runs. My Parktronic is very handy when squeezing into narrow spaces. But I can find no real use for my Speedtronic - the system that imposes either a variable or permanent speed restriction when set.
In my view a driver needs total control at all times, and even in built-up areas the maximum limits can vary.
