reliability of 2005 clk 55

hi,
ive had 2 bmw's and l love the design of the 2005 clk 55 coupe. i'm thinking of getting a 05 clk 55 coupe .
1. Are there any known problems with this model? how much does it cost to service these cars? how long do these engines last? how often do the tires/rotors/pads need to be replaced?
2. the car i'm looking for does not have the COMAND navigation, is there any way i could get a COMAND navigation installed in it and where can i get it from?

Hi, see my recent posts in the CLK Lemon discussion.

Don't bother with COMAND, it is awful. CLKs are beautiful and luxurious. When they are working well, they are a dream to have. My problem is mine has had a long list of problems, service has been bad and the transmission will likely need to be replaced.

Everything breaks. I've had two CLK's with Command.... A 2005 and now a 2007. Both are perfect

you can get command retrofitted, alot of dealers can do it ! and its worth it, its a nice thing to have !
