My 2002 320 Avantgarde Coupe has the "Easy Exit/Entry" convenience feature. The steering column powers upwards and the seat powers rearwards when you take the key out of the ingnition. The opposite happens when you put the key back in. Problem is, the seat has stopped moving (steering column still moves). The only thing that has happened recently was I tipped the driver's seat forwards to allow someone in the back. All seat motors still work as does the memory functions. Anyone had the same problem? If yes, is there a quick reset?
Took it to the garage, they reset it, but have ordered a new controller.
I'm a bit concerned with the reliablity of the electrical components of the CLK (and there's a heck of a lot of them). I took the car in to the garage only a month previously to get the sunroof fixed. It kept getting to within a few centimetres of closing, then backing off. Just the other day it happened again.
