Hi,
I am new to this forum, I am wondering if someone can help with the following:
for some unknown reason, my two years old niece threw several coins/cents in the rear quarter panel (through the seat belt opening) on the passenger side. No harm done, but now and then the coins are making a clanging noise that's really irritating. I would like to remove the quarter panel cover and get the coins out, but don't know how. Any help?
TIA,
Serban
Sorry.....don't have a clue. It would probably make more sense to take it to your dealer. If they break anything, they'll be responsible for replacing it. If you break something, you'll have to pay for a replacement.
I already talked to them about it. He wanted me to pay the first hour (~70/80; he will pick up the rest. He said that it will take more than an hour to do it, rambling something about the rear seats getting in the way, etc. I was able to find out that the panel stays in place mostly through clips, but if I break any of those clips or panel tabs, then the trouble will start.
Many problems which were actually my fault were fixed by my dealer for free. You should see the service manager and ask him to do it for you. By the way the whole job is less than an hour. If you pay the first hour you have paid for the whole job.
