Anti-Theft

I drive a new 2004 CLK320 coupe and I am wondering how good is the stock anti-theft system.

With my previous car, the car key has a computer chip which matches another chip at the ignition. How about the MB key?

I am wondering should I get a after-market anti-theft system for my new car...

The Anti-Theft System in your CLK is really good already.
I believed you do not need to do any upgrade on it.

The stock system is really good.

Theives are breaking into houses to get the keys to steal the cars.
