How long are waits for CLK320 and CLK 500 cabs?

I see them advertised for over MSRP-how long did you have to wait by going through a MB dealer?

I am waiting since October 2001. But now I am told that I get my CLK 320 conv. on Feb. 15, 2004.
Right now I see some dealers in our area selling it for just $3000 over sticker, so its not that bad.

I suppose it could be different in your part of the country, but the wait in our area is about as long as it takes you to ride down to the dealer and write a check. The 209's are not selling well, and cabs are not much better. Of course, nothing's going too well in the big car biz right now! As I say, this may be different in your area, but I'm in Atlanta metro...hope this helps.

I was given an estimate of 6 to 7 months after you put down a $1000 deposit. You get to pick all options without any obligation to buy. Any 04 cabs sitting on the showroom waiting to be sold will go for an arm and a leg. Most are spoken for at this point. I got lucky in my case. Most cabs are up for grabs when someone orders one and then decides not to buy when it comes in. I got lucky and got to take over someone's order when they didn't want the car 3 months before delivery and it happened to be exactly the way I wanted it (color and other options). BTW, I'm in the SF Bay Area.

I ordered a CLK-320 cab and I just got it after waiting almost 14 months.

I walked into the dealership in Tucson and found an CLK-55 cab. It was in my garage that night. Just lucky I guess.
