MY CLK500 GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS

Good news is that I just picked up 2004 CLK 500
bad news are .

anyone got clk 500 2004 do you guys have problem adjust your time?(my sales told me it happen to all the 2004 just want to know if that's true)

I have some problem here

I just got CLK from Long Beach California.
when i am about to leave. I found out that I can't adjust the time and cup holder was bad.

oh well i thought it's cool I'll just go back and have them fix. but when I got home ( about 35 miles on the fwy) my left front side tire is flatted~~ wtf.

take my car to one of the MB dealer in La Palma they said due to "misbalanced" of the left front tire that's why my tire went bad~

they can't replace there they want me to take it back to Long Beach and they should be able to replace a new one for me...
and they also can't help me to adjust the time b/c the car is not properly "flash"
okay.. which i take my car back to Long Beach MB

and then they should fix
1. tire
2. cup holder
3. reflash the program or fix it

Two days later~~~~
... i got a call this afternoon... from my salesman told me that I can go pick up my car.

here is the problem..

I found out that they didnt fix the clock issue yet
and my alignment totally went bad.~~~ the car is just not going stright... it went to the right side...

anyways.. I need some advise~~~

can i ask them to change a new car for me? since i only got it for 2 days and actually it went back on the very next morning~!!!(i got the car 10PM )

please reply or send me an email to jjlin@cox.net

thanks guys

I believe that California has a Buyer's Remorse law. If you don't want the car after a few days, they have to take it back. I'm not 100% sure about CA, but many states have it.

Do you have the website for that law?

I know in Cali there is no cooling off period which means you can return the car b/c you are paying higher $$ or dont like it after few days... right after you sign your contract you are pretty much tight up except they cancel it

Take it in again, I think they have to have tried three times before you call it a lemon. I am very happy with my CLK. It sounds like your dealer is no good. Take it to Fletcher Jones. Maybe they will treat you better.

RE: MY CLK500 GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS

I purchased my "03 CLK 500 from MB of Long Beach. I think they are one of the worst MB dealerships. Their service advisors are clueless and IMHO they are lazy. I wouldn't trust MB of LB to wash my car let alone service it.

I was so frustrated with them and their attitude and thought that MBs have no better service than a Hundai dealership.

I've been given false information too many times from MB of Long Beach. When I switched to Fletcher Jones, it was night and day. The service is excellent from the parts manager, shop foreman, to service advisor. The service technicians are well informed and honest with their opinions. Although I still think their sales people are a little suspect.
