my check engine light has been coming on lately....

in the manual it says is correlated with a fuel system problem. The car runs fine and eventually the light will turn off. Might the have something to do with the open-air K&N filter i installed? I have had that filter on there for months without a hint of a problem. Anyone else had a similar dilema?

When's your next service ? If it's close, the light usually comes on until reset.

4k is still a lot. It can be several things from a loose gas cap...

to a faulty mass-air sensor. Have your dealer check it to be safe.

I had a similar problem. You shoudl check with the dealer. Mine was caused by a faulty sensor.
