CLK55 engine cover and intake on a 430... (same as mbworld.org post)

Is it possible to mount a CLK55 engine conver and intake on a 430? My initial observation says yes since they're the same engine and mounts.

My second question is, do you guys think I'll notice some performance gains by doing this?

Third and most important ---- Is anyone out there selling their CLK55 engine cover and intake?????

Yes, it's possible. The gains are minor if anything at all.

If you want to know how to modify your intake, shoot me an email.

I don't know about buying a used sports car...

Chances are, it's been driven too hard, etc. But then again, who wouldn't buy a sports car and not drive it hard. I guess I just want to be the one who drives it hard. I didn't think I could afford a CLK55 but after much analyzation, I could...so...too late.

Me too. In hindsight, I should have bought the 430 instead of the 320.

If you supercharge your 320 by Kleemann, it'll be faster than the Kleemann 430 due to engine weight

I think he meant faster than a stock 430, due to more power and less weight
