Allstate

In my family there are 5 cars, each insured by Allstate. I have been paid twice for accidents by uninsured motorists (that's how I got this car). I've been driving for 6 years, and up until last year, I was never directly insured. The cars were insured for any driver, reducing the cost of insurance, and ultimately causing them to lose money (in the short term).

insurance depends on where you live and your driving record
I pay about $1300/6 months and I have one speeding ticket in the last 3 years. I have not have been in any accidents of any kind in the past and I am in my late twenties. I live in southern california.

When I lived in WI, I used to pay about $780/6 months for insurance.
