I have H&R/Bilstein on my CLK320. Which one is contributes to the stiffness of my ride more...

the H&R springs or the Bilstein shocks?<br> <br> Please let me know. I think my car is too stiff. Need a more comfortable ride.<br> <br> Any suggestions?<br> <br> Gary

Actually it's both. But most of the pressure is applied to the dampers...

That's why they're called such. To dampen the ride. :-)

No..it the spring that you feel the stiffness. Most people felt the stiffness from the spring not...

<br> the shock. That's why when they change the shock, all of the sudden, the car ride firm and smooth.

You can go with thicker spring pads...or switch to Koni and Eibach for maximum comfort.

I have H&R with Koni, I chose Koni because it's more comfortable than Bilstein, but equal in

performance on a CLK.
