Mercedes sucks. My pasenger side Xenon blew out last nite!! (more)

These things are SUPPOSED to last forever!! What the hell!!! This is not the only problem I've had with the 2001 CLK 430. I had the window problem, with it going up and then down 1' and stay there. I have a problem with the dash creaking all the time. The headlight washers in the winter stick out when frozen. The washer fluid resevoir had a problem of emptying within a day or so after having been filled. The headlight washer caps fall off if you touch them while washing the car. The quality of Mercedes sucks shit!!! I would NEVER recommend a Benz to anyone. I have to drive this piece of crap to the dealer almost every week. Thats where all my freakin miles are going. Having come from a low end japanese car, I really dont feel that i bought into a quality high end luxurious car. Mercedes really is a cheap american car with benz logos. I have seen many posts on this board with people having problems with their Benz. I'm sure you can all relate!!! <br>

Try making them buy back your car and do some research on Lemon laws in your state.

I've had similar experiences over the past year with my CLK55:<br> 1. 'Exciter' for the left HID headlight died.<br> 2. Mass airflow sensor failed.<br> 3. Driver side window express up only went part way and then magically started working as things wore in (or out).<br> 4. More squeaks and rattles than my 10 year old Acura NSX.<br> -- Rick
