I'm looking to lower my 2001 CLK430 with an H&R suspension upgrade. I'm looking to get my 19' AMG wheels under it but I'm worried about the ride quality.<br>

Does anyone currently have a 2000-2001 CLK lowered with H&R springs?? How does it ride??
I have H&R's and Bilstein and I love it. The ride quality is better than I expected. The drop about
1.5' and so far i dont have problems with bumps. The handling is way better and looks are improved as well. I dont know how would the ride be with 19' wheels but it will be harsher than stock.

I have Eibach springs and sway bars and Koni 3-way adjustables set to firm. The ride quality is superb and the handling is alot better than expected. This car is driven in Manhattan and I never had a problem.<br> <br> Do the whole thing (shocks, springs and sway bars.), to get the full effect. You need a lift to drop the rear assembly to get the rear sway bar in.<br> <br> Check out the Tire Rack for the parts.<br>
