So heres another funky thing going on with my door. Whenever I pus the unlock button on my remote start, the door does not unlock for a couple seconds. Sometimes I need to push the unlock button the remote atleast a good 10 times. Usually after the tenth time that means I need to open up the trunk, unhook the damn battery cable, put the cable back on then everything works again instantly! Anyone think about installing a kill switch attached to the negative side of the battery so I can just flip it on and off. I have 2 8" subs in a heavy box in my cabrio and its a bitch to take out. Anyone have any suggestions? or what the prob might be?
Do you really have a remote start that was an aftermarket install or are you talking about your smart key? If it is the former I would say that would be the source of your problem and you might want to trouble shoot it through the maker. If it is the regular MB key I don't have a clue. You want to try to use the Search function on this website to see if anyone else in the other forums have encountered the same issue.
