Are the spring pads on the bottom of where the springs rest on the control arms? In both front and rear? This is something I'd be interested in doing.
nope they are on the top and the size is donated by the number of nipples you can just see at the edge where the spring fits inside the cup.
(I went from number #5 pad front and number #2 pad rear which was stock for me, to number #1 pad front and zero pad rear to get my drop just right.)
Do a search on spring pads there are 1000's of pages on this subject.
PS you should also get your front alignment adjusted if you alter the pads....
