AMS Crank pulley and E\/osport accesory pulleys are the two kits available for your car. Accessory pulley kits are for power above 5000+rpm, Crank pulleys are more about low to midrange torque between 0-5000rpm. Both work well as they are supposed to but work in completely different ways. They are 100% compatible with each other so you can do either crank pulley, or accessory pulley or combine both for maximum HP and fuel efficiency. for more info and dyno results and etc click link below.

Deal

[snakoiler, did they say what that deal was and....are the kits the same for the 430 and 320 and...do you have a contact person I can ask the ECU question of?

Never mind. I sent Evo an email. If I get favorable answers to my two questions, I'm in. Thanks for working on this.

I might be in as well. But at the current price, the extra claimed (key word) increase of 9hp is not worth it.

Changing the air filters should get you close to that for approx. $75. And don't forget that you have to factor in the install cost as well for the Pulleys.

Here is an entire e-mail from Brad. I sent him the link for the crank pulley above too

Rich,

That is a very different item then what we are selling. That is a crank pulley vs. accessory pulley kits.

Thanks

Brad

horsepower? retune ECU for a 320?/Email response

Dale from evosport here. You will see about 6 to 10 Horsepower. You do not have to retune. Software has nothing to do with pullies on the engine. We are simply slowing down the alternator, power steering and water pump a certain percentage so the engine works less.

Is the kit worth $379 or what price did they quote you snack?

6HP? WTF? I'm out. Not worth the trouble. Turning off the A/C may get you 6hp - lol.

No quoted price, just "better" than 379 was all I heard

AS & Evo

So if I'm reading the above correctly one company/AS has a crank pulley and the other/evo only has an a waterpump, power steering, alternator kit pulley kit. Can both be use together? Why not I would think. Better yet, does Evo have crank pulley as well?

yes, one sells crank, the other accessory kits, you can buy either separate or you can combine the two. its totally up to the consumer which kit is best for their application.
