Ditto, or from any auto parts store that has an OBDII scanner. CEL can mean a lot of different things. Someone on here will steer you in the right direction. The last time I had one it was one of the oxygen sensors.

Neither my local autozone or kragen would let me use their scanner. i ended up paying $50 for a scanner(it's called the U381) off ebay.
Man, I HAVE to get one of those scanners. It seems like it would help out so much.
Just out of curiosity, are you able to reset the check engine light with the OBDII scanner? I really would need more justification to spend... I think it was around $200 last time I looked. Ill have to do some research on the price and what it can do.
But yeah, good luck on the CEL, It can mean sooo many different things. Mine came on a while ago and it ended up being a couple Vacume sensors in the fuel line that were slightly off because my gas cap is messed up... Anyway, Good luck!

The $50 scanner I got off Ebay erased the code it read for the 02 sensor.
