can someone help

I noticed a plug loose close to my drivers side headlight, I couldn't find where this plug connected to. I believe its to my outside air temp sensor, my dash constantly reads the same temp. Does anyone have a diagram of a CLK 208 engine or know where this wire should be connected to. I noticed the little node that sticks out to monitor to temp has wires plugged into, however, there must be a another plug which the top wires connect to?

My 430 has the exterior temp sensor mounted to the front bumper grill under the main bumper, between the fogs on the right side support for the lower lip of the bodywork. You'll see a small hole that the probe fits into as part of that brace.

Hope that helps.

yeah, that's right. Mine pops inside the mesh sometimes when I wash the car. It clips back into place easily though.

Thanks everyone.... actually, it turns out that the wire plug that seems to be not connected to anything is not for the outside temperture plug, my temp display on dask reads fine..... I am not sure where the two wire plug... plugs into. Its located behind the driver's side front headlights, there seem to be series of plugs on the back side of the headlights which are not part of the headlight assembly... ooooh well... no error light has popped up so I am assuming that this plug is probably something a mechanic ties into to get some sort of engine readings..

all the wires in our cars are the same. exp. if you dont have headlight wippers the wires are put in anyway its all automated. so you all of our cars have tons of plugs not plegged in, if you ever take apart your trunk area youll find like 10 or so plugs sitting around
