Help! What is this plug behind the radio for?

Hello guys. First of all, I want to thank everyone in the forum for sharing their knowledge and experiences to help the rest of us that know less of these cars or do not know how to get around something of these cars.

I took out the radio the other day and found this plug just hanging back there. It was unplugged. I can't tell if it disconnected itself from somewhere, or if it's for a feature that my vehicle doesn't have, and thus it's just there. It's a four pin plug with four wires: purple/black, pink (it seems), black/gray, and green/red. Please help me out, I can't tell what this connector is for. Radio and speakers work fine...someone?

The car is a 2001 CLK320
Has radio, had the cd changer. No command.

I do. They work just fine without that connector plugged in.
