The Nittos are great, I have had them for coming up two years, of course the car sat for close to 4 months when I broke my ankle last year, but the wear has been pretty good.

I wonder how the smoked halos look on my car. So much black!

Mr. Pie how you liking those Nitto 555s? I was happy with those tires on my other benzs. I've already worn through my PS2s.

Just picked up my 430 from 2 weeks of TLC. Here's the first look at the new headlights installed. I'll report on how they perform against my factory Xenons soon.

Here's my initial report. (one day after intall)

Brightness: They do not seem as bright as the factory Xenon bulbs, but this might be because they need a little adjustment. The color seems to be pretty white a clear. There is a definite crisp clear line at the top of the beam where the light just drops off. This is good because it will allow me to focus the beam to be nice a bright on the road, and not burn the eyes of people around me.

Looks: They do look great on the car, and give the front a nice clean updated look.

Halos: The halos are cool, but I'm going to look into how the shop wired them. They come on after the main bulbs have been on, when you shut the door (this is called courtesy lighting). I'd like to wire them with the running lights.

Build Quality: The lenses are plastic and seem a little thin, but overall they are well made and look solid. They are absolutely a good value.

Verdict: I'm very optimistic, but will withhold final judgement until I can get the beams focused a little more. Will report again soon.

Correct, similar but not the halo projectors these are the "cheese grater" projectors that have been retrofitted with HID. Good find though

did you not hook up the city/parking lights?

Are all four bulbs lighting up (excluding halos)? 2 headlights, 2 city lights
