I also have my tail lights in from that link I posted earlier in this thread and they look AMAZING.
Thanks again Enforcer for the heads up on the lights!!!
I will post pics after I take some pics tonight with head and tail lights on. My new bumper is also in, however it is currently being sprayed. I am making one more upgrade also but I will keep that one quiet until it's complete to show you guys.
Enforcer...are you getting the Light Defective notice on your dash when you turn the lights on? I'm getting it, and I know it's because these lights don't use the factory plug to tie into the car. I was just wondering if you found a way to stop it, or if you just keep resetting it when it turns on.
I'm going to try that Tee-Tap for the Halo and let you know how it turns out.

No, not at all. The lights come with the harness that plugs into 1 of the 2 factory harnesses that is on the car. In addition, there are ( 2 ) black and ( 2 ) red wires on each light assembly that power the Halos.
Following Enforcer's wire diagram......U then tie the wires, or as I did T-Tap the wires into the harness to power them up.
Hey, Im new to this, I just got my CLK430 about 6 weeks ago and Im about to buy some of those projector lights too. (From neweggmall.com) That is the cheapest I have seen them. Even Ebay was like $400 after shipping. Anyway, the only thing that I have to add/ask is: I hate the way the yellow bulb reflects around in the housing. Does anyone know where to get a chrome bulb? I know, it sounds stupid, "a chrome bulb" But they do make them, and they still shine yellow when they are on. These are examples of some from an Ebay auction for clear side markers with the crome bulb (So that the yellow doesnt reflect around inside of course) The Ebay auction number was 120283239724
Yea, basically you remove the non-highbeam bulb in the small lenses, and then wire the halos instead of the non-highbeam bulbs (parking lights), so when you turn the knob once, instead of the absent bulb being turned on, you get only the halos.
By the way these look sick on a black CLK, better than any other color IMHO. I know I've been slacking on pics, but those halos look siiiiiiiicck, like I have to give my car Tylenol PM because it's so sick. HAR HAR HAR corny I know.
Really though, these are an awesome investment...and by the way, if you don't know what you're doing, or you don't have all the right equipment or the space, don't even bother attempting this. Granted, Deyainrdy4dis and Enforcer posted their install pics, they make it look easy, trust me. Here's a pic of what you're going to be dealing with:
ok, the halos are ON in this pic, but since it's day time you can't really tell. Nonetheless you can still see how sharp they look.
Notice the holes where the headlight washers used to be. You'll have to put those back on their using double sided tape, or some kind of epoxy. I'd suggest something with a strong, waterproof hold, as opposed to the double sided tape.
Nice job Bensin...get some more Tylenol ready. How many hours did you end up putting into it? Are you putting projectors on that car to the left of yours in the pic, too, or did someone just ram the sh** out of it?
P.S. - several guys (I've seen at least 2) were able to keep their headlight washers intact after installing projectors so there is a way to make that work.
