Transmission fluid check
Is this where you check the transmission fluid? Also the dip stick I have is long as hell so im not sure if this is right because its right on the transmission

Look for a red cap that is called the lock pin; they break when you remove them. As mentioned, it should be on the passenger side of the engine bay close to the firewall. That is where mine is and I think the W208 and W210 are nearly indentical except for the 2 vs. 4 doors.

Yes and I believe you check it with the engine is running and tranny in "park" (I'm not 100% sure). I never have to check mine because I get it service at the dealer at 50K miles on the Clk 430, CL 55 and I'll do the same with the Clk 500 Cabriolet when it reach 50K miles. Only a couple manufacturer required checking the tranny fluid when the engine is off. Honda is one of them.
