Look, honestly, here's my experience driving the w209.
I got into the car, drove it around, y'know it was great for straight line, but when I got out of the car I found that I had grown boobs, a veejay, and my hair grew long, also my facial hair fell off.
I immediately got back into my w208 and when I stepped out of it after driving for a bit, someone handed me a Mr. Universe statue and mad naked hoes were all up on my ish.

I'm just saying, and it's a true story.
ROFLMAO - we need to make this post a sticky now. Nice work BENSIN!
Wow..don't be so quick to criticize.. better check your sources again Linh..Maybe you were thinking on he CL 55.. in 03 yes.. it came with the quad pipes.. Like I said.. Mercedes didn't start the quad pipes on the CLK 55 until 2005.
Hmmm....is that the US model car? Awhile back I searched Ebay for a Clk 55 with factory quad exhaust system option to get the VIN# so I can order the necessary parts to do the quad exhaust but could only found one car 2003 model. I just search Ebay and here's a few 2005 Clk 55 and non has the quad exhaust system, that's weird !!
Anyway, I decided not to go through and do a true factory quad exhaust by changing out the spare tire tube, right side muffler, right side heat shield, rear bumper....etc and alot of $$$$ for labors. In the end I went the EVOsport route that cost one owner for $4,000 !!! Mine cost less then $400 !!! I think the W209 is less girlies looking if you mods it. What do you guys think..........
I do like linh's CLK500. Definitely has a more masculine, tougher look that most CLK500's. You did a nice job on it linh... Overall though, without the mods the CLK430 has the more masculine look and better lines. My wife has asked me a few times "if you were offered a new CLK would you take it in exchange for yours? My answer has always been no unless I could sell the new one, buy back my 430 (or a CLK55) and pocket the change. I just have a preference for the lines and looks of the CLK430 Cabriolet. 8 years later I still get frequent compliments on my Benz.
I like the W208 convertible unless the W209 has a rare color or some other special feature. The 209 looks alot like the Honda coupe that came out that year (photo from a magazine comparo below).
