Cool

Check the optical cable in the trunk (specifically the connection). It has a habit of coming loose and/ or getting damaged.

Mine used to do that I replaced the player itself to resolve the problem. However, no matter what it won't play burned CDs properly and at this point I don't even remember if I ever burned them as AUDIO or MP3, probably the latter.

I've had this happen from time to time. It usually recognizes the changer again after turning the car completely off and on again. I think it has something to do with the cable being loose because I noticed it usually happens after driving on rough roads.
