RE:

I'd love to see a new supercharger kit hit the market. I recently spoke to STS about a turbo, and they told me tuning would run $15,000-$18,000. So total cost with the turbo would be about $30,000!

WOW!

yeah i use a piggy back system called "Perfect Power" out of South Africa...Welcome to Perfect Power - Complete Engine Management and Fuel Injection Systems including Stand-alone and Piggy-back Systems and then use the ecm SMT6 for tuning...all i need is the TPS sensor, MAF sensor and tap in to a vacuum line and add a 2 bar map sensor and ECT Sensor and i can pretty much tune that way for fuel and timing is a bit more complicated but i believe anything that has a 5 volt reference i can work with is needed

if it will work on a damn Saturn ION it should work on a Benz!

No matter what, any FI done to the car is going to be pricey, even if you're loaded, it's not like 20k give or take is chump change.

Yeah, I talked to STS too and they stopped talking to me for some reason. Even one of their "Preferred Shops". I think they just don't want to deal with a Benz or something. Very unprofessional. Really good at making you think its cheap and easy, but when it comes down to it there is only a few options for us.

So.... Any one have any luck getting a hold of House of Power? I have tried many times with no success.

Seems the compression ration is the same for the CLK 320 / CLK 430. With that being said is it possible to run the same SuperCharger or is there other things to consider?
I'm also wondering if the same mounting bracket for the supercharger will work?

2000 CLK-Class CLK320

• 3,199 cc 3.2 liters 6 V front engine with 89.9 mm bore, 84 mm stroke, 10 compression ratio, overhead cam and three valves per cylinder

• Power: SAE and 160 kW, 215 HP @ 5,700 rpm; 229 ft lb, 310 Nm @ 3,000 rpm

• Coefficient of drag: 0.31

• Weights: curb weight (kg) 1,470

2000 CLK-Class CLK430 Coupe

• 4,266 cc 4.3 liters 8 V front engine with 89.9 mm bore, 84 mm stroke, 10 compression ratio, overhead cam and three valves per cylinder

• Power: SAE and 205 kW, 275 HP @ 5,750 rpm; 295 ft lb, 400 Nm @ 3,000 rpm

• Coefficient of drag: 0.31

• Weights: curb weight (kg) 1,526

The CLK55 has a compression ratio of 10.5:1

Anyone know about these systems?
Mosselman Turbo

I have tried contacting HoP as well - they have never responded.

I just sent an e-mail to a distributor in South Florida about Mosselman. They have a kit listed on their website for $6500.00. The power increase, however, is only about 80hp. If I can get in touch with them, then I will post the information here.

Website: direct sales and design (all one word) dot com.

bankerkys let me know if you get any info from them about the Mosselman one. I couldn't see a kit for the CLK430, only 320 for some reason. Man, both them and Mosselman have horrible websites.

Maybe time for a 150Shot of Nitrous, haha.
