Hi guys i was wondering what is the difference between the 2. My clk has the rear and front amg bumper i think the side too not sure... And I was wondering what else is different between the 2.
The only difference as humplok put it so eloquently is just the badge on the trunk. This is considerably more when it is a real AMG, but then again it would be a 55 if that were the case.

There is no such thing as a 430 AMG. Most 430's if not all have the AMG Bumpers and side skirts (AMG Appearance Package). Thats it. The only AMG is a 55.
CLK430 AMG means someone slapped the AMG on themself... The CLK430 came stock with the AMG bumpers, AMG sideskirt and AMG wheels. I bought my CLK430 Cabriolet in 2000 with these AMG parts stock. IMO Mercedes was probably testing the AMG market before building the CLK55 AMG. I think the CLK55 AMG first came out in 2001 or 2002. Mercedes never put the AMG badge on the CLK430 trunk because it does not have the AMG engine.
