I have been taking all my spare time and dumping it into this project! So far I have the car side mapped out and know what to plug into and have built a prototype plug... Now for the tough part, the damn Iphone is being a silly little twat and it seems like once i find the right wire it actually changes, i dont get it! Im almost there and I Will make a few for a select group to be my testers. Thank you!!
P.s. I have killed one Iphone in the process, $400 later 2nd Iphone.. Hope this works

hey man, sorry that you burned an iphone in this process. I also have an iphone. Do you mind telling what are you going to build up to connect the iphone? a software? or something?
Its gonna be hard cause it needs a program to realize the key input from the car and such, Im not that great at programing but im willing to give it a shot! The plug is really harsh right now and it will plug into the base in the center counsel for the phone... Getting tunes is probably going to require you to use the iphone to select tracks, also the music will play in the phone option on the stereo. It will come out sounding great and you will know when your getting a call because it will ring though the stereo, and then when you want to pick up the call hit send on the stereo and if you want to drop the call hit end.. BTW does anyone want to donate their stock stereo to the project? That is if you dont use it anymore! THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
