Leaking convertible (cabriolet) top / window seals ?

My "new to me" 01 320 CLK Cabriolet seems to have a bit of a leaking issue in heavy rain. I need to do some more investigation, but the seals all look good and are soft, but rain is definitely getting in along the top window seals.
Should I be focusing on adjusting the windows to bring them in "tighter" to the center of the car, or adjust them to go higher, or...??? Everything looks good, windows go up the extra 1/8" when you close the door, etc.
Open to any suggestions to keep the water outside where it belongs!!
