Question Vibration on highway....

I noticed today when I'm on the highway I can feel a vibration throughout my car. I listened to see if I could find a source, but couldn't really hear anything. I'm pretty sure it's not coming from the engine but I'm not sure what else it could be. Anyone else have this problem?

It could be an unbalanced wheel, or a bad tire, or a bad flex disc. These are all normal wear items.

Hello man..

Dont worry its not something serious..

Check the following :

1- Tires Direction and air pressure.. it may cause vibration on high speed.

2- Check the wheel balance.. ( i think this is the problem ) ..

good luck

Hi mate,

Just one other thing..

If you have recently had your wheels off for whatever reason, make sure you put the wheels on the corners of the car that they came from.
Your front tyres will wear more quickly than the rears and will effect the handling.

I had this exact thing happen to me - the wheels on one side of my car were back to front.. Once I swapped the wheels to where they were before the ride was smooth again!!

Its the tires...... its always the tires... staggard tires = no ability to rotate. Buy new tires your problem will go away.

Haha I did that on my old car once. My CLK has staggered wheels though so I'm thinking it must be a pressure issue or mounting. Hopefully I can get around to checking it tonight after work, it didn't shake much at all on the highway today though.
