I just have a quick question. Are there anyone with pics of their aftermarket pedals? AMG? Brabus?
the reason i'm curious is because i'm planning on buying some, but i wanted to know how they are installed.
- are they ACTUALLY screwed on the the pedals?
- do they bother the gas pedal when you floor it?
if someone can shoot me pics of what they look like installed, that'd be great. what i REALLY REALLY would like to see is the screws/parts that come with the pedals. just so that i have a better idea of how they're going to be.
i had after market pedals for my previous car, and i didn't really like them. i wasn't satisfied. that's why i just wanted to double check with you guys before buying some AMG pedals.

No pics... but here's how my aftermarket brabus installed (they may be replica knock offs, I really don't know or care)...
Remove the rubber cover on the metal parking brake, brake and gas pedals. Drill 4 holes in the corner of each... pretty small, though I forget the bit size. And then it's a screw and nut situation.
Pretty simple, once you recover with the rubber you'd never know they were there if you choose to remove them. My only complaint is they rattle loose occasionally... easy enough to fix with loctite, but that'd require all kinds of effort whereas now I can just lean down and finger tighten them for another thousand miles.

LOL! Ahh, the fruits of laziness!

I just replaced the stock pedals with AMG. It was pretty easy. The AMG pedals require no drilling. Slip off the rubber pedal and slip on the AMG. The accelerator needs to be removed and it is replaced with the AMG accelerator. Pull one pin and 2 screws and you are done. I bought genuine AMG pedals from Germany on E-Bay for $69.00 plus shipping. They look great.

That's nice to know. I've had my pedals for a while now....just waiting to have my car detailed before I install them. I will be using Loctite.

Locktite is a solution that you place on screws, bolts, nuts....to keep them from coming loose. I bought mine in a tube from Wal-Mart. You can get it at different strengths.
