Alright, i have a couple questions about headlights/headlamps and stuff. Hopefully you guys can give me info and details before i purchase a new set.
PLEASE NOTE:
the reason i'm not so familiar with the different types of headlamps is because my previous car which was a '95 Camry had no aftermarket headlamps. All i had were HID's.

Headlamps
- What's the difference between Xenon vs. Halogen vs. Projectors?
- Are they all compatible for HID's?
- How would i know which ones i have?
Foglamps
- Not too long ago, i've seen some crazy looking fog lights with the HALO ring.
(not the AMG style round fog lights, but for the normal shaped ones)
- Here's a pic of what i might get as far as fog-lights go...
(Are these compatible for HID's?)
The difference would be either xenon and halogen, xenon is HID as in High Intensity Discharge. Projectors just focus the light better compared to the reflective type headlights. Seeing HIDs are xenon then yes but you have to replace your halogen bulbs to retrofit a HID kit into a halogen headlight, and you should also look at replacing the lens as the clear lens will help reflect better. If you have headlight washers you definitely have xenon headlights, if you don't you won't. That is the easiest way to figure it out, unless the previous owner swapped them out already.

You have two very different types of fog lights there, one is the clear lens which is on the 320 and the second is the fog projector that fits into the stock fog spot. The projector fog does not have the angel eye "halo" ring around them, but why would you want to put HID fogs? I would be looking at getting HID into your hi-beam first. That's just me though.

Quite a few people on here with the aftermarket front bumpers have those angel eye fog lights.
Hella Optilux 2500 Angel Eye Driving Light
the thing is they are 4" wide and will most likely not fit in your OEM 320 bumper.

Yeah, i'm actually just waiting on the R170 Headlights posted by "Williams"
those are the ones i really really want as far as the headlights are concerned.
by the way, just wanted to compliment you on your car. I have been seriously considering painting my car white...
yours look really good man.
Thanks bro. You have absolutely no idea how happy i am when i bought the car. I've always wanted a white car. and on top of that. the previous owner took care of the car as if it was it was his only child. LoL.
i posted up more pics on the "WHIP PIX" sticky thread. you should check it out sometime, tell me what you think.
