ebay's "carbon fiber' trunk lip spoiler installed wit pics...

i was lookin for a c/f trunk lip to accent my black wheels but the only one i cud really find was the cheap ebay one...i figured id jus give it a try since it was only costin me a total of $38 shipped....i requested it in 48" since the trunk measures about 47.5" and theres a slight curve on the trunk....
overall...it actually looks pretty good and better than i thought it would cuz how it accents off the wheels well....it looked smaller in the ebay pics and seems to arch up more in the ebay pics than it really does....i stuck it on in a way so that it stiks off the trunk a bit (one end of the 3M tape isnt even on the trunk cuz how the trunk lips up a lil bit)....however its still holdin well; even at speeds of up ta 130 ...so its fine so far and i think ill leve it there...

(n i explained the badgin situation already so dont even bother bashin about it lol)...

It turned out pretty cool. It looks like what I kinda thought it would but for some reason I thought also that I would stick out like a sore thumb but fortunately it didn't.

Slightly off topic.

I didn't get to see where you discuessed the 55 badge. Could you direct me to where you discussed the badging sitatuion? I searched your posts but could not find it, plus you have a lot of posts so it was pretty tedious.

Thanks.

No, I understand. I was just curious. Also, when you take it off there might be some off coloring becuase of the sun. Thats what happened to me when I took the AMG badge my car came with off.

Heat it up with a hair dryer and use fishing line or strong dental floss to remove the badges with no scratches. A little goo-gone will take off the excess glue
