Whining noise when turning steering wheel in 2003 CLK 430

Im probally wrong, but ive heard similar sounds in my car.. Once I had all 4 catts replaced by the dealer the sound went away? I could be wrong and prob am but the catts restrict flow thus slowing down the power steering pump somehow or rather ahh im hungover goodnite

I had the same thing that everyone is describing...but It just went away after a month...thank god! It does drive one crazy...

I remember I took a right turn pretty hard into my old street (it is a wide open area void of houses for all the (insert profanity of choice) out there) and that was that...the noise started.

I get a faint sound when turning that sounds like a wheel is rubbing the wheel well. Though I know it isn't.
