I was driving home the other night and a cat jumped out in front of me. He almost made it. Hit the drivers side front bumper and knock out the tow clip cover. This is the piece that goes between the fog lights and of course a painted piece. I went to the dealer and now I am into almost $400 for part and paint. Does anyone know any good MBZ wrecking houses or does anyone have a better idea. Your help would be great.
Same situation. Let me know if you find the part. The only place I could find it was at the dealership and they wanted about what you said, $400. (2001 CLK 430)
Believe it or not, when I mentioned it to my Mercedes service adviser, his first comment was "what" ? So I think that most people don't know what it is.
