Trunk lid weight load adjustment
This one falls under the "ah duh!" category.
When I installed a trunk spoiler it added weight to the lid and when I tried to open it via the keyless remote it did not open itself, rather I had to physically lift the lid which is far more work that I want to be involved with.[:D]
When you remove the side panels, there are three holes to place the spring end in. I moved it to the middle hole and voila!!
Remember to do both sides.

If you put it up on the last hole and then waited for that dammed cat that leaves footprints all over the trunk lid to get comfortable...

RE: Trunk lid weight load adjustment
You know what. I figured what the hell at first and put it to the last hole just on one side. I thought the thing was going to fly over my hood. Come to think of it, I think I just figured out a good practical joke.
