Hi forum sorry ive been away on and off for a while travelling.
Whilst i've been a way I had my usual fun and games on the road.
However I raced a Lancia Integrale the race one and although he beat me I was only 1 car length behind him until 130mph after which I steamed ahead. Although I consider this a loss I am impressed by my 430's performance as the Lancia is one of the best performance cars there is.
The big surpurise was I raced a Bentley GT and he was struggling to overtake me on the straight it was only after 80mph he zoomed past me. Whatever the reason was for his poor start that is a £120K car haha.
Lastly my greatest victory ever against a non supercharged CL600 although I only beat him by about half a car length this was a 600 and it used to be one of my fav cars.
There are many reasons I want to sell the car 1) I can feel it when I drive that the car does not feel as solid as it used to be 2)the mileage and the shape is becoming old 3) my group of friends have raised the game with one of my friends buying the new M6 and the other the new Carrera S so I either have to tune the 430 engine which will cost almost £18,000 including ecu header, supercharger, roll and sway bars etc or with the same money trade in my car and get either a used W209 CLK 55 or maybe even an SL55?
The bentley has over 500hp turbo'd V12. Although it does weigh a ton, it would completely demolish a 430. I dont know anything about Lancia's though. Good luck with the sale of your car.
