Hi everyone - Im looking to buy a CLK 430, Im having trouble finding any how to's, or anything on the buying topic, and performance upgrade topics, I see staged upgrades on other sites - but nothing on the forums on tips and tricks of this car... I've seen a couple around my neighboorhood for sale... what's the ussual cost of maitenance for cars with roughly 80-100k miles? What should I expect to go bad? What things should I look for when buying one?
Here are links to two of the ones that are for sale thanks guys!

Just as a frame of reference I bought my 99 w/ about 90K miles in February for under 18K. So that first one is definitely priced too high. The last one seemed like the best bet but obviously you'd have to see it first. Unless you plan on dropping a lot of money into it (i.e. a supercharger) there aren't a ton of engine performance upgrades. Obviously you can drop the car and put new wheels as well as new body kits to personalize your ride. Maintenance can be quite pricey so make sure you have the budget for it. A lot of things are known to go bad on these cars like tranny's, electrical problems and general stuff. That said, they're still wonderful cars and you'll feel great driving one.
