Removing rear bumper
I'm going nuts over here. I'm following WIS but something aint' right. I removed the plastic center piece in the trunk and the 3 nuts behind it. I removed the 1 screw in each wheel well, I removed 1 screw on the metal shield on the drivers side fender and 2 gold colored screws in each corner of the trunk. She aint' budging. Anybody?

Pull real hard? Seriously...if the WIS doesn't tell you then I know I'm not going to be any help. Sorry this isn't informative but I'm offering moral support to you.
What a crappy day to be working on that by the way.

RE: Removing rear bumper
The pictures pretty much tell all. Obviously you need to remove the trunk mat and both sides of the trunk liner to access side bolts. First thing to do is the horseshoe clips and the trunk lip.
The rivet is found on the outside in the wheel well. It holds the mud guard in place.
note* The three bolts on inside bumper are actually nuts
note* Should read GOLD COLORED BOLT not BOLD

So you do not remove the wrap around impact strip from the outside?
No.
The only other thing I can add is that in my case, the electronics for the phone system were housed in the rear bumper but because the phone is not hooked up, the cable end was simply laying by the Bose amp on the passenger side rear of trunk.

RE: Removing rear bumper
Thanks. I was going nuts trying to figure it out. It's like the front bumper, after the first time, it's a piece of cake. Man, that pic was taken right after the drop. It looks so high but It's settled alot more since then. I'm gonna put #3's in the spring.
